By Any Means will see Charley Boorman, star of Long Way Down, travel
from Wicklow, Ireland, to Sydney, Australia. Ditching his bike, this time
Charley will be using any method of transport he can get his hands on.

Charley will travel overland and water, experience 24 amazing
countries and transverse three continents. This really will be his
toughest challenge yet, as he pushes himself, and the machines
against the toughest of environments.
The show is a reminder of a time before air travel - when getting to
Sydney was not just a case of buying a plane ticket, it was a
life-changing trip that crossed culture, language and ethnicity.
As always, Charley will prove that the journey is just as important as
the destination...
